Carol Woods Retirement Community

Project Description

The project consists of the renovation and expansion to the clients main dining building. Updates include additional food stations, updated dining areas, and high-efficiency mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Elevators at two existing independent living buidings are also part of the scope of work.

The project consists of the development of approximately 48 Independent Living units in four hybrid buildings with an average of 12 per building. This will include the modification of the main road around campus, Harkness Circle, and the development of a new entrance to campus from Sunrise Road at the northeastern corner of the property. In implementing this phase of the Master Plan, Carol Woods seeks to preserve the beauty of the existing campus while repositioning the campus to address a distinct, future market advantage. Sustainable and biophilic design strategies will be essential elements of this project.
