Peacehaven Farm
The project includes the development of a 20,000 square foot Community Center at Peacehaven Farm, located in Whitsett, NC, to serve as a hub of relationship-building, education, fun activities, employment, and job training — all achieved with a commitment to acceptance and integration.
These improvements will serve people of every ability while addressing the specific needs of adults with an I/DD. The community center incorporates sensory-informed design throughout. The space will include an adaptive fitness center, café, arts and education classrooms, a production studio, coworking spaces, and a social hall. It also includes outdoor spaces for gathering events and other outdoor activities.
