Sr. Project Manager / Owner’s Representative
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sr. Project Manager/Owner’s Representative to support our growing portfolio of clients. 10+ years of relevant experience is required. In this role, you will serve as a trusted partner, ensuring that the interests of our mission driven clients are prioritized and that projects are completed efficiently, ethically, and to the high standard CORE Collaborative has established in the marketplace. The ideal candidate will have a strong moral compass, a passion for supporting mission-driven organizations, and high degree of accountability for themselves and others. We have the flexibility to support someone who wants to work anywhere between 10-40+ hours per week.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Sr. Project Manager / Owner’s representative advocating for client goals and ensuring alignment with their mission and values.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Collaborate with design consultants, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure projects stay on track and within scope.
- Identify risks and implement solutions to overcome challenges while maintaining accountability.
- Oversee procurement processes, contract negotiations, and compliance with regulatory and funding requirements.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to safety and ethical standards.
- Provide clear and transparent project updates, reports, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education Details:
- Bachelor’s degree in project management, construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of project management experience, with a strong background in supporting and leading project teams.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practices and a values-driven approach to work.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with varying timelines.
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus but not required.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency with all phases of project (Planning, Preconstruction, Construction, Closeout).
- Understanding of Budget and Cost Control.
- Ability to create and review project schedules.
- Ability to review and negotiate contracts with Architects, General Contractors, Owner’s Vendors.
- Design and Document Review – ability to review architectural and engineering documents.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiar with project management platforms (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Smartsheet, Bluebeam, BIM tools).
- Familiarity with local regulations and permitting.
Position Details:
- Hours: Flexible, with an estimated workload of 10-40+ hours per week based on project needs. We are open to anything in between.
- Location: Hybrid, with occasional site visits and in-person company meetings as required.
- Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
